HUUCs endowment fund was established in 2001, but it wasnt until 2007 that funds became available to be granted to applicants that meet the criteria described in the Funds Plan of Operation. These grants are divided into three groups:
-
1. Educational Opportunities
- For UU related leadership conferences or other training which enables members of this congregation to grow in faith & service to Unitarian Universalism.
-
2. Physical Plant/Outreach/Mission
- For the physical plant of the congregation.
- For outreach into the community
- For the wider mission of the Unitarian Universalist Association at home & overseas.
-
3. Formal Education Opportunity
- For the purpose of attending college, theological, or medical school
The endowment fund is an opportunity for HUUC to enrich congregational life by making a difference: in the lives of its members, its community and the world at large through grants to individuals, groups or organizations that address our vision and mission.
